Imagine a job where you spend your time walking through a beautiful garden while increasing your knowledge of flowers and meeting all kinds of interesting people. The rewards are priceless.
We are always looking for people who love the Gardens and are interested in volunteering their time to greet visitors.
Volunteers staff the Friends Desk in Horticultural Hall from opening in the spring till closing in the fall. They greet visitors, provide Gardens information, answer many questions, encourage visitors to become a member of The Friends, and sell the HPG books, maps and calendars.
We offer free tours of the Gardens and are looking for outgoing people to be tour guides, so that we can expand our schedule.
